When your friend knows you are a vegetarian probably the first question they'll be asking is “where do you get your protein from?”. Next time when someone asks the same question be prepared, check out the above image and quickly let them know that "protein isn't just meat". Plant-based foods like quinoa, green peas, peanut butter, kale, chick peas, tofu, beans, broccoli, hemp, lentils, soy milk, etc are a very good source of proteins. On average a women should get 46 grams a day and men need 56 grams a day.
